I'm Rooting For Everybody that's Black
from Catch These Vibes Hosted by Sharmanique
In this episode I discuss the Emmy nominations and Congratulate all the Black people nominated. Growing up watching these award shows we would search for those that we looked like. We wanted to root for them because we knew how Black people tended to go unnoticed. Seemingly enough, those days are ending. We have fought for inclusion and spoken out on how important it is to have representation of Black folk on the big screen. This years nominations include a variety of Black folk, not just one or two people. So excuse me while I talk about the nominees briefly during this episode. Also I discuss how yo ass better be voting and shooting your shot in other ways. Enjoy and follow us on IG @vibestocatch
