Imagine Winning an iHeart Radio Podcast Award After Ditching iHeart!

from PuckSports · host Jason Puckett

On today’ Daily Puck Drop, Jason “Puck” Puckett and the Go-2-Guy Jim Moore open up the show reacting to the Josh Naylor press conference.  Puck and Jim were in such awe how he handled himself and how he thanked the fans.  Bringing Naylor back is one of the best moves the Mariners or any Seattle team has ever made. Puck also shares with Jim the hilarious news that he was sent an email by iHeart Radio informing him that he could submit his podcast to be nominated for the best sports podcast in the country! Nominees will be announced in January and the awards ceremony is in March. Puck and Jim would DO ANYTHING to be nominated and maybe win and then they would erect a billboard across from iHeart Seattle with their accomplishments! “In the Bloody Trenches” with Rob Staton, SeahawksDraftBlog.comjoins Puck to discuss the Seahawks narrow loss to the Rams and dismal performance from Sam Darnold.  How much trust and belief have people lost with Darnold moving forward in big games?  One major positive coming out of Sunday’s loss was the performance of the defense and how spectacular they were in shutting down Matt StaffordPuck plays the best of Inside Pitch with Ryan Divish, Seattle Times and Old Crimson with Jim and former WSU All-American safety Paul Sorensen.   The full podcast with Divish is available for Puck’s Posse members at PuckSports.com and Old Crimson can be found on YouTube/Pucksports.  “On This Day…” covers a significant birthday and the invention of this popular breakfast item. Puck wraps up with, “Hey, What the Puck!?”   The college football playoff rankings show is a sham. (1:00) Puck and Jim (43:08) Rob Staton, SeahawksDraftBlog.com  (1:05:02) 5 Minutes w/ “Inside Pitch” Ryan Divish and “Old Crimson” w/ Paul Sorensen and Jim Moore (1:13:50) “On This Day….” (1:17:11) “Hey, What the Puck!”
