Imani Simon: the Littlest, but Bravest Ram

from WFUV Sports

The Fordham women's basketball team is in the midst of their stretch run in hopes of winning their second consecutive Atlantic 10 Championship. Despite their push as the regular season draws near its end, the team continues to do great work off the court. Throughout the season, an existing bond with Imani Simon has grown stronger. Simon, a 6-year old from Yonkers, New York, is currently battling sickle cell anemia and is an official member of the Rams after signing a letter of intent on Nov. 3, 2013. She often attends home games, sits on the bench, and even attended a road game in Rhode Island recently. This audio feature highlights Imani's Fordham basketball story.
