Greeting’s heathens and witches, Welcome to the Horn and Cauldron podcast… Imbolc takes place on Feb 1 (northern Hemisphere) or Aug 1 (southern hemisphere) about halfway between the Winter Solstice (Yule) and the Spring Equinox (Ostara). It’s a time to celebrate the coming of spring with hearth fires, feasting, planning the upcoming harvest, weather divination, and working with candles. For this year’s 104 series, we’re delving into fundamental magic, and we chose candles for Imbolc season.
