from English Service - WGM Church

8-9-2020 Weekly Message Meditation of the week: Psalms 91:1-15 Text: John 1:1-14 Word Title: Immeasurable grace and truth given by the Lord Jesus Christ to the sinful world for two thousand years         In order to realize how the great grace and truth poured into the sinful world through the Lord Jesus Christ  for  the past two thousand years, we must deeply understand the words of Jesus spoken unto his disciples ” Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. 8And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged..”( John 16:7-11)        Jesus was talking about sending the Holy Spirit after He died and was buried in order to take away the sin of the world, then rose again to the throne of heaven on the third day. However, the Lord said the Holy Spirit is “the Comforter.” When the Lord said that the Holy Spirit is the Comforter, He meant that through the grace and truth given by Him, sinners shall receive  tremendous comfort beyond their imagination. The comfort given by the Holy Spirit cannot be expressed in human words until we deeply understand the grace in Jesus Christ and the comfort given through truth.          For the past two thousand years, God, people have been slaves in the eternal death by the devil that has the power of death. Even in the midst of screaming because of fear of death but so much be used to living such kind of curse, they have never known what is the eternal death as well as the eternal life, even never be able to imagine of such things. Then, it is the time for us to realize how much immeasurable grace and truth given by the Lord Jesus Christ beyond understanding in human words through searching the scriptures written before. Unless we understand grace and truth, we are not able to understand why we have to repent to receive the remission of sins, and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ to be saved to receive the Holy Spirit.                 Soon or later, people may miss the last chance for salvation,  even most Christians don’t understand of the grace and truth so that they are not able to bring forth the fruits meet for repentance for us to miss the last chance, but even most Christians go to church without bearing the fruit of repentance as living as the slave of the devil following the lust to the hell.  To find out if this is true or not, even a single fact can be easily seen by elementary school students.        If they truly have realized the grace and truth God has given  through Jesus Christ, how  most churches today claiming to be God’s churches united with the WCC, WEA and NCCK and united with a world that claims the law of nondiscrimination, including homosexuality?           Then, as we meditate the words of God, we shall understand  how great the grace and truth that God has given through Jesus Christ is so great  that sinners dare not imagine it.          About a thousand years after Adam had passed by, the Bible clearly states what kind people in the world were dwelling in the world: ” And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. 7And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.“‘ (Genesis 6:5-7)          It is not known how many people were living on the earth at that time since Adam lived. We may guess that there were hundreds of millions of people.  Only Noah out of them found the grace in the eyes of God. To the eyes of God, all of them were no different from the  beasts, the birds and the creeping creatures.          Then, when we hear the words of Jesus who saw the people  in his own eyes at that time, we are able to know what they were  thinking and imagining in their heart to grieve the heart of God. Then we are able to know how much all men including so called Christians are grieving the heart of God nowadays:   ” But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be..” (Matthew 24:37-39)        At that time, when people didn’t realize God’s grace and were only looking for corruptible things, God gave them a chance to repent for 120 years, but they didn’t realize until the flood came and their breath was gone. We must first think seriously how many people out of seven billon understand the grace given unto them by God, and seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness whether we are seeking the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Unfortunately the Bible tells us most people including so called Christians not understand the grace and truth. They are destined to be cast into the great Tribulation, and even in the midst of the judgment, they won’t to understand the will of God: “ By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.… And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts. “(Re 9:18, 20 ,21)            About a thousand years after the flood judgment, God visitedto Abraham with two angels and sent two angels to judge Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brimstone: ” And the LORD said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous; 21I will go down now, and see whether they have done altogether according to the cry of it, which is come unto me; and if not, I will know.” (Genesis 18:20-21)           When God spoke of how great the sins of  Israelites were, God said unto them that their sins were greater than the sins of Sodom, and what the sins of the Sodomites were at that time: ” Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. 50And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.” (Ezek. 16:49-50)             The behavior of the people in Noah’s day or in Sodom seems to almost as  most people’s nowadays, including Christians and all other religious people. In other words, we cannot deny at all the judgment of God as the people in Noah’s ay as well as Sodomites couldn’t avoided it.         Now, only those who realize such a  immense fact must realize the unspeakable grace and truth in what Jesus said unto his disciples.          First, we can realize it when we meditate deeply on this word of Jesus, “For sin, because they don’t believe me.” All of us, like the people in the Noah’s day and Sodom, have already been committing many of the same sins. However, Jesus is comforting us through the Holy Spirit. If we now realize that we are a miserable sinners to be judged, it is a tremendous grace that if we repent with all our heart bring forth good fruits of repentance, and believe in Jesus, that is enough, and will not be judged at all, but we shall be passed from death to life: ” Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.” (John 5:24).          Second, “for righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will never see me again.” We must realize that there is a great deal of grace and truth in this word. All the sinners in the world have used to live in the prison by the devil like earthly hell, and in the curse going to eternal fire, but through the righteousness of God, by faith we are able to escape from the evil world like hell going to heaven. What a wonderful grace it is!.          Third, “And again, for judgment, because the rulers of this world are judged.” Now the ruler of the world, that is the Devil through the resurrection of Jesus Christ, lost the power of sin and death and was judged two thousand years ago. Therefore whosoever repent and receive the remission of sins can enter into the kingdom of God coming out of the evil world.  However, the devil is still deceiving the world and is still seducing people for them not  to realize the grace and truth through Jesus Christ, and even most of the churches of God are involved in religious integration by uniting with WCC, WEA, and NCCK. Also, recently, with the COVID-19, they are giving fear  the whole world, and by giving threat  to people to get  vaccine, they are tricking them to receive the mark of the beast that will be given through the Antichrist in the Great Tribulation. Apostle Paul testified of this: “ For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. 8And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:“(2 Thess. 2:7-8)         Unfortunately, even in the last days, even those who confess to believe in Jesus are not being forgiven of their sins because they have not been able to bring forth the proper fruits of repentance because they do not repent wholeheartedly. Apostle Paul asked the people in Ephesus, “Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed?” (Acts 19:2). They did not know the Gospel, so they did not know the Holy Ghost. That’s right! We have to understand the grace of Jesus Christ, repent, and believe, and receive the Holy Ghost to be born again to become children of God. And we have to be armed with the knowledge of truth. Then we can overcome the mystery of iniquity that is now  happening in the world. Amen! Hallelujah!
