Immigration and Ag Guest Worker Reforms

The U.S. potato industry is proudly working with our partners on Capitol Hill to promote solutions to address American agriculture’s ongoing labor crisis that include a viable guestworker program and an opportunity for the currently improperly-documented workforce to obtain legal work status. This podcast features discussions with a New York state potato grower and the head of labor relations at the Florida Fruit and Vegetable Association describing the challenges faced by the ag community in finding labor, and an update on the legislative efforts currently underway in D.C.
