The stories are based on complaints to the FTC from Spanish speakers throughout the nation and offer practical tips to help detect and stop common scams. You can download pdfs of the fotonovelas for free or order copies  and distribute them in your community.  Here are two of the fotonovelas: Notario scams This fotonovela tells readers the warning signs of a notario scam, where to find help with the immigration process, and how to report scams to the Federal Trade Commission.
