Immigration Statistics

from Desert Politics · host Todd Landfried

Many people use data from questionable sources to justify extreme positions on immigration policy. In this program, we are joined by Professor Susan Long, Co-Director, Syracuse University’s Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse. She is a statistician and professor at Syracuse University's School of Management, and Michelle Wucker, author of the book “Lockout: Why America Keeps Getting Immigration Wrong When Our Prosperity Depends on Getting It Right." We discuss the TRAC study on crime and illegal immigration and look at other confirmed and reliable immigration data and history. As always, the program included calls from the public.
