Dr Baldwin delves deep into Townsville-based project, explaining its origins, findings, and the ongoing achievements of the initiative supporting prison inmates through pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period to establish vital connections with their newborns.   She also explains how the project has evolved into something much bigger, including the development of an Australian Birth Charter and a new program for imprisoned dads M2: Midwives for Men.
