About this series: The title of our teaching series throughout 2023 is The Kingdom Of God. The essential goal is to help people understand the Bible’s teaching on the kingdom of God and raise confidence in God’s plans for his kingdom’s expansion / multiplication. Teaching about The Kingdom Of God is a great way to address life as a church community - this is how life together under God’s reign should look like. And to address our lives in the world - demonstrating to those in our sphere of influence the reality of God and what life looks like when God is your king. The second part of our teaching on the Kingdom is called “Kingdom Priorities.” Here we look at some familiar biblical themes, and bring an emphasis on how they are a feature of God’s kingly reign. About this talk: The gospel of the Kingdom goes beyond the personal to the community and to the nation. It starts with the personal (i.e. Gospel of salvation) but then it goes on to bring God’s government to influence the community and influence the nations. In Deuteronomy 28:1-14 the Lord says if you fully obey my commands then the impact will be (In all areas of life). We not only see the impact of the Kingdom of God in both the Old and New Testaments but also through Church history with the Roman Empire and also through the advent of the printing press and translation of the Bible. In India, because of the work of Christian missionaries, the fields of education, healthcare, linguistics, social reform, agriculture amongst others have changed laws and culture of the country ushering in values of the kingdom of God.
