He holds several degrees and certificates including a B.A. in Linguistics from the University of California at Irvine, and a doctorate at the University of Bath, England where he did his doctoral dissertation research on gender and ethnicity of leadership in international schools. He has also held leadership roles in schools in India, Spain, England, Mexico, and Belgium.
