Lesson 86 - Funeral rites (Part 5) 5. Shrouding the deceased: The one who dies in a state of ihraam is shrouded in their ihraam. The deceased boy is shrouded with a single sheet, up to three sheets, while the deceased girl is shrouded with a shirt and two sheets. 6. Those with the most right to wash, shroud and bury the deceased: For men: Those they specify in their will, then their closest male relatives. For women: Those they specify in their will, then their closest female relatives. The husband has the right to wash his deceased wife, and the wife has the right to wash her deceased husband.
