Impossible

“But you do not believe because you are not of My sheep.” (John 10:26) Jesus was down to earth. He knew a shepherd’s voice would be heard by His sheep. Those not hearing Jesus’s call were not His sheep. It did not mean they could not hear His voice but that they had chosen not to obey Him. His voice was brushed aside like a seed falling on hard ground and consumed by birds. The people were listening for one message, while Jesus’s message was ignored. They wanted victory over their enemies, while Jesus said they were to love them. Jesus defined our greatest enemy. Father, it is easy to love the unlovable until they are in my face. That takes a miracle. It takes You doing me.
