Imprint Ghosts and Wandering Spirits

Not all ghosts are the same. Shelley and Gwen discuss ghost stories from their book, Haunted Baraboo, that indicate different types of hauntings around Baraboo. Residual hauntings can be found in neighborhoods, at Circus World Museum, and in the Wright Building in downtown Baraboo. Wandering spirits, such as Al Ringling’s apparition and a small spirit on 5th and East Streets, appear to move between buildings. One may even cause a person to fall unconscious.
