This school year will mark ten years of teaching secondary ed ELA. She has been awarded the Florida State High Impact Teacher Award for 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 school year. She has taken upon a new and second position as a TSL mentor on her school campus where she mentors seven first year teachers. She is a proud graduate of Michigan State University College of Ed.
