What can administrators do to retain teachers?In 2021, The National Education Association (NEA) recommended districts make significant changes to reduce stress and improve morale in schools to avoid a "Great Resignation." It's 2023, and I don't think many school districts listened. Teacher burnout is being felt around country. Schools are facing teacher shortages, driving education leaders nationwide to find solutions that address the challenges of teacher burnout, retention, and recruitment. However, "Educators don't need any more chair massages or Casual Fridays," it's about "support and autonomy." Decrease in morale is increasing feelings of demoralization.
