Improving My Spiritual Strength

Spiritual growth doesn't happen by accident. In order to make progress, there must be intentional activity in the direction we want to go. In this message, Bishop Mills reminds us that spiritual strength is directly connected to our relationship with God. Although the enemy will attempt to interfere with our progress, we don't have to face life's challenges alone. God is continually watching over us, keeping us, and providing the strength we need—even through the things He doesn't keep us from experiencing. Just as physical strength requires intentional exercise, growing spiritually requires us to put in the work. We must address the areas that need growth, learn how to overcome temptation, invest in our individual time with God, and keep moving forward even when the process is difficult. As we grow, we'll begin to recognize progress in the way we respond to situations that once affected us differently. Keep trying. Keep growing. Keep trusting God.
