The top-ranked Wartburg men knocked off No. 2 Pomona-Pitzer and Holy Cross native Joe Freiburger was the champion. The Wartburg women were second in the team race behind a former St. Edmond prep. Loras' Kassie Rosenbum knocked off a quality field with several Division I runners in Oregon on her way to another school record. The Loras men finished fourth with the help of two Iowa natives. The Iowa Central men finished 1-2 in a meet in Wisconsin, with a Simpson runner fourth. The race report ends with dominant performances by the Iowa Western teams at the Indian Hills Invitational.
