In a Big Country

from Greg Atkinson music Hosted by Greg Atkinson

I have always loved the lyrics to this song and Big Country lyrics in general, notwithstanding the brilliant guitar harmonies that are also in the original and characterises the BC sound - please check the original out at: http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1032u_big-country-in-a-big-country_music and buy the original BC album - its a classic! The phrase "not expecting to grow flowers in the desert - but I can live and breathe and see the sun in wintertime" has always stayed close to me over the years. RIP Stuart Adamson - a true genius.
