Carla Egan is the Head Matchmaker and Connector at The Coaching Directory, an online directory that lists qualified coaches, and a Leadership Coach specialising in employee retention. After 20 years managing frontline service delivery teams, Carla’s interest in coaching began in 2016 as a way to increase employee engagement and tenure with Millennials and Gen Z employees. Carla now consults and coaches’ leaders to support their team, especially during periods of uncertainty and change, and assists leaders to manage their own energy and well-being, while remaining focused on business outcomes, employee engagement and productivity. Carla holds a Master’s in Business Administration (Executive), a Masters in Meta Dynamics™ Coaching, is a trained Facilitator, an Accredited Practitioner of Extended Disc®, and a registered indigenous business with Supply Nation. An active volunteer, Carla supports Rotary and is a business mentor with Indigenous Business Australia and Business in Heels. Carla’s aboriginal heritage comes from the Wotjobaluk people who originate from the Ebenezer mission station in Western Victoria. Carla is married to Simon Egan, and they reside in the coastal town of Aireys Inlet, located along the Great Ocean Road in Victoria.
