Dave Chaplin is a contracting expert, published author and founder of IR35 Shield, a platform which enables businesses to conduct fast and accurate IR35 status assessments to help ensure compliance. He also established Contractor Calculator, an online resource used by contractors, freelancers and the self-employed. He later founded IR35 Shield as an ideal solution to help keep businesses their contingent workforces fully compliant with IR35, thereby reducing the risk of investigation and tax liabilities as a result.
