She holds a master-of-science in psychology and a bachelor of science in psychology from the same institution. Dr. Williamson has been active and held leadership roles in many associations including the Powhatan Chamber of Commerce and Executive Women International. Dr. Williamson was also an adjunct instructor for Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business for several years.  Dr. Heather has been married to her husband, Kent, for twenty-four years and they have a fourteen-year old son, Temple.
