In Conversation with Adam Hollioake

This week we talk to ex-England ODI captain Adam Hollioake. Adam shared with us his journey of playing professional cricket and what is was like to hone his cricketing skills in Hong Kong out of all places! He spoke about the success he had with Surrey especially as a leader and someone who plays a more aggressive brand of cricket. We also discussed his views on split captaincy and some great stories from the 1997 Sharjah Cup on how he had to set the field as a captain against Sachin Tendulkar. Adam shared his views on how England changed their ODI set up from 2015 to 2019 to become world champions and his thoughts on current Indian cricketers such as Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah.
