Growing up in the city and cutting his teeth at college radio DJ Disciple became known for his soulful house playlists, lively personality, and ability to build others up.He was one of the earliest DJs to include female DJs on his radio shows. Also, when he moved to the UK, he helped introduce house music to many UK listeners and contributed to the foundation of garage music.
