In conversation with Donna Ashworth

from Widowed AF: Real stories of love, grief and beyond - With Rosie Moss · host Rosie Moss

Donna Ashworth is VERY famous  right now, current Sunday Times number one best seller with her (genuinely) beautiful book, Wild Hope.  She is especially highly regarded in the widow community for how accurately and poignant she writes about loss. Yet she's not widowed herself, I was fascinated to know how she knew what we felt. I was so fortunate enough to persuade (stalk) her to come and talk about what the inspiration is behind those powerful words. We cover as many topics as you might imagine ( genuine lols at us getting ready to sign off three times ,  then finding something else VITAL  to discuss)  I genuinely  felt like we sat side by side and met kindred and much admired spirit. Thank you Donna for bearing your precious soul and loving a deep and true conversation as much as me. As Donna says 'you can't feel ugly when you're smiling', and  I hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoyed talking to a woman who's felt like a friend for a long time and is certainly one now.   She also calls me inspirational, just saying.) Trigger warnings- eating disorders. Connect with Us: Follow us on Instagram @widowedAF Email: theshow at widowedAF.com Web: (https://www.widowedaf.com) Watch on (YouTube)
