In Conversation with Iranian American Director Tanaz Eshaghian on her Film "As Far As They Can Run"

from SpecialT Media · host SpecialT Media

I am joined in conversation with a remarkable woman, Iranian American director Tanaz Eshaghian on her film "As Far As They Can Run," which is an intimate portrait of three children with intellectual disabilities in rural Pakistan who have been deemed "useless" by their communities and manage to find some acceptance and a place in society through sports. The courage, determination and dedication to telling this story through their eyes is extraordinary. Tanaz captures this and then some. This is also about Special Olympics and what they do- around the world. The staff in Pakistan helping these children reach goals they never thought they could, but most importantly putting a smile on their faces.
