In Conversation With Jeddy Azuma On Coaching Men, Manhood's Rite of Passage, Letting Things Happen on Their Own Timeline, and More!

from The Soul's Conquest · host Madhurima Sappatti

Welcome to Season 5 of The Soul's Conquest! We start off with a banger of an episode with my guest - Jeddy Azuma! Tune in as we speak about men, the rites of passage for them, the changing point, Jeddy's journey as a coach and his motivation to do the work he does! Beginning with a captivating detail, Jeddy Azuma shared his experience of his own rite of passage and the importance of coaching men in this journey. In this podcast episode, Madhurima Sappatti and Jeddy Azuma discussed the importance of men having a rite of passage to signify their transition into manhood. Jeddy shared his advice for coaches to communicate their truth better and the obstacles he faced when sharing his message. Madhurima shares a lesson from the Bhagwad Gita about not worrying about the result of one's work and focusing only on the work removing expectations from the equation. Madhurima asks Jeddy Azuma for tips for new coaches who are starting out and have an important message to share. He delivers a powerful message about how letting things happen on their own timeline. This is an invitation to dive further into their conversation! Here's who he is, in his own words - I am a curator of culture, philosopher, and leader of men. In 2017, I created "The Rising Man Podcast" to investigate modern masculinity, promote men's well-being, and explore what it means to be a "man". Over the past 3 years, The Rising Man has evolved into an international, multi-generational movement of men whose collective purpose is to initiate an entire generation into purposeful leadership and personal power. I currently am responsible for creating and overseeing leadership development programs, wilderness Rites of Passage, and personal growth experiences for men. My most important responsibilities are to my wife and children. My purpose is to establish a lasting legacy and culture for men rooted in integrity, purposeful leadership, and social responsibility so that our children are equipped to handle the uncertainties of the future.
