Beginning with the importance of authenticity, consistency, and finding mentors, Madhurima Sappatti and Malik Thurman discussed the importance of taking time to relax and manage stress when creating content on YouTube and other platforms. Malik shared his five year goal of helping others with marketing, brand content, and other aspects of business, as well as his YouTube project, the MC Show, which is his ode to the gaming industry. They also discussed the importance of reaching out to mentors in the community for advice and guidance, and Malik encouraged people to look around and see what they enjoy doing to find their true purpose. Madhurima shared her experience of having limiting beliefs when it comes to tech and how YouTube being a space where anyone can post gave her the leeway to slowly build up and learn. Finally, they discussed the importance of creating short-form content and how to deal with trolls and negative comments.
