In conversation with Standard Bank's Ethel Nyembe

Ethel Nyembe is the Group Head of Card & Payments at Standard Bank South Africa. Nyembe has served in several executive roles within the banking group, among them as Head of Small Enterprise and Head of Business and Commercial Transactional Products. She and her team have formed key partnerships that give customers product choice, value-added benefits and payment options when they shop, travel, pay bills, remit to loved ones and live. Ethel's banking career started at First National Bank between 2004 and 2010. In the first quarter of 2010 she joined Standard Bank. Ethel is passionate about the entrepreneurial spirit the country holds and has served on several business boards as well as on the boards of co-operatives in the Johannesburg city centre and Economic forums in Gauteng. She has a great interest in sport and social upliftment in the community.
