Pete Fletzer is a freelance writer, fundraiser, and the host of the podcasts Around the Galaxy and Disturbances in the Force. He began his career as a writer for Star Wars Galaxy Magazine and Star Wars Insider in the late 1990s. His articles were published at a time when Star Wars was experiencing a revival, with the release of a special edition of the original trilogy and the premiere of the prequel trilogy.Pete discusses his journey from Star Wars fan to Star Wars writer, how his father introduced him to movies, and the lessons he is teaching his children.We also discuss the news that broke days before we recorded the episode.
