Robert's latest book is called "Hidden History of Kentucky Political Scandals". Robert has given many presentations on local, state, and national history and won several awards for historic preservation. Currently, Robert Schrage serves as Executive Director of the Kentucky City and County Management Association (KCCMA). KCCMA is the professional association of city and county managers in Kentucky. He is very active in local history circles and has served on the Boone County Historic Preservation Board and the Rabbit Hash Historic Society Board of Directors.  Robert Schrage is former President of the Cincinnatus Association and was a member of its Executive Committee. During his career he was active in the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and in 2013 won the Luke Dober Award for his advocacy efforts on behalf of Substance Abuse Treatment in the region.  AS CEO of Executive Service Corps of Cincinnati, he oversaw all operations of this nonprofit organization located in Blue Ash Ohio. In his role as Director of Administration at Transitions, Inc., Schrage oversaw government relations for the 140 employee organization. As Assistant Director of the Northern Kentucky Area Development District he provided administrative and supervisory oversight to operations of the NKADD for 85 employees. Prior to serving as Assistant Director he was Coordinator of the Public Administration and Community and Economic Development Division, performing duties such as providing direct technical assistance to 63 local governments and over 100 special districts in the areas of economic and community development, budgeting, finance, human resources, management, research, risk management, special studies, and solid waste. Schrage coordinated NKADD local government projects, assisted local governments in administration and compliance with numerous state and federal laws, programs, and regulations, coordinated many regional programs and developed innovative programs and services to meet changing local government needs. He oversaw legislative issue of interest to local governments and the Area Development District. Prior to joining NKADD Schrage served as City Administrator of Ludlow, KY and was responsible for day-to-day administration, operation, and management of city government. Departments included Administration, Treasurer’s Office, Water Works, Public Works, and Police. Robert Schrage holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from Northern Kentucky University and a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Cincinnati.
