Previously, Nick was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Risk Officer of a publicly traded company called KCG, a Wall Street trading firm which was trading 10-15% of US daily volume in equities and many other assets world-wide. After KCG was sold, Nick got very interested in the blockchain and digital assets space and came to Lukka first as an investor and later joined Lukka full time, first serving as COO, co-CEO and now Chairman. During his time at KCG, he was also a Board member of the DTCC and is very familiar with the traditional financial infrastructure.
