WTMJ host Steve Scaffidi was joined in-studio by former Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Mary Kuhnmuench and they began the show by discussing the aircraft collision that occurred at Washington, D.C.’s Reagan International Airport and the response from U.S. President Donald Trump and U.S. Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy’s responses afterwards. Steve and Judge Mary talk about birthright citizenship and Trump’s executive order getting rid of it following a block from a federal judge Steve briefly asked Mary about other challenges to Trump’s executive orders in the U.S. Supreme Court. Steve and Judge Mary then discussed Donald Trump’s pardons of the January 6th, 2021, capitol rioters. People on both sides of the political aisle were demanding recusal from both liberal and conservative justices on the Wisconsin State Supreme Court. Judge Mary brought up a personal story of recusal with former Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker.
