Most addicts are confused about life. There is much growing up needed for us. Because of our self-centeredness, dealing with everyday living is difficult. Recovery is a process of maturing and learning how to respond to life. Not that maturing is easy. On the contrary, growing up is difficult, especially in the beginning. But we grin and stay vigilant. We change and grow up over here.
