Before God can trust you with the palace, He must audit you in the prison. Joseph’s journey was an architectural masterpiece of character formation.​He faced the temptation to take an easy shortcut to comfort through compromise, and he faced the grueling test of delayed justice. He could have allowed bitterness to rot his foundation. Instead, he chose to maintain his structural integrity, declaring, 'How can I do this great wickedness and sin against God?' God is still looking for Josephs today—leaders whose character is thicker than their circumstances, and who will build a life that can carry the weight of a nation.
