In Talk with Daniel A. Witt - International Tax and Investment Center (ITIC)

On the occasion of the IFA Congress in Berlin Arne Schnitger and Christian Kaeser had the opportunity to talk with Daniel A. Witt, the President of the International Tax and Investment Center (ITIC). The ITIC is an independent, nonprofit research and education organization to promote tax reform and public-private initiatives to improve the investment climate in transition and developing economies. Daniel illustrates why investments in developing countries are important and that a simplified tax system can be essential to mobilise domestic revenues. Daniel, Arne and Christian discuss the perspective of developing countries in the light of Pillar One and Pillar Two as well as aspects to digitalisation and transparency.
