In The Booth 140 Feat. Burko
from Sherm In The Booth · host Sherm In The Booth
I can't believe the year is almost over(not upset though) but I've still got 2 more interviews left! Very excited to share this amazing interview with Southern California based DJ/Producer @burkomusic I caught wind of Burko a few months ago when I heard one of his tracks.... I ended up listening to his entire discography and was so impressed by his sound! I knew I had to have him on the show In 140 we discussed: -His early beginnings and influences in music- SoCal has a very diverse music scene and Burko was hooked on electronic music early on -His journey from DJ to Producer - A DJ first, Burko eventually made big strides into the production game and credits a lot of his success to some important mentors along the way -Creating his sonic identity - Burko defines his sound as "Medieval" and never wants to make the same song twice. Loved this topic with him! -His discography thus far - Burko has seen his music reach all parts of the globe and has had big releases on labels like Box of Cats and Kino Village(of which he is head A&R) I had a great connection with Burko and truly am a big fan of his music. He DEFINITELY someone you want to add to your upcoming artist rolodex - very excited to see what the future holds for him!
