In honor of the passing of the great Signey Poitier, Mike and Allyson cover one of his most iconic roles, Virgil Tibbs in In the Heat of the Night. It was nominated for seven Oscars in 1968, taking home five of them, including the Academy Award for Best Picture. Rod Steiger, best actor in a leading role that year, costars as Gillespie. This is one hell of an odd couple whodunit.
