These are my feelings on recently coming out as non-binary. Also this is my first time using Ableton Live instead of GarageBand Lyrics When you look at the world through a mirror Do you look the same You're too big, you're too square, you're too manly It drives me insane I've been finding A new word, a new phrase, to describe who I am I am something Not a sir, not a ma'am, but the middle When you show a new you to the world Are you still the same Some new clothes different hair and new pronouns With the same old name I've been trying To escape leave behind these old roles I've been given I've been trying To escape somewhere safe in the middle
