In The School Of Prayer (Pt. 2)

Matthew 6:9-10 Last week Jesus took us by the hand, shepherding us into the school of prayer. And there He began to show us how to breathe again in prayer. But now notice, like all good teachers Jesus not only instructs, He also models what He teaches. Every teacher knows the power of example and that’s what we have starting in verses 9 & 10. Jesus has taught us ‘how’ to pray, but now He shows us how it really can be done—“Pray then like this: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Main Idea—The missionary need of God’s people is corporate prayer to our Father.
