In The School Of Prayer (Pt. 3)

Matthew 6:11-13 Two weeks ago we described Christian prayer with the language of breathing. We said—just like breathing is necessary to be alive, so prayer is equally necessary to our Christian existence. But just because something is necessary for life doesn’t mean it comes naturally to us. As Jesus closes His lesson in the school of prayer, it’s this proper knee-jerk reaction to breathe prayer for needed provision that He dials into as He continues to show us how prayer really can be done. Main Idea—The missionary need of God’s people is to rely on our Father’s provision in prayer.
