In the Shadow of the Noose

Joining Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson for breakfast at 221B Baker Street would, one imagines, be rather a civilised affair.  Consisting of eggs, bacon, toast with marmalade and, of course, tea.  However, there’s a disruption to the morning’s routine.  Scotland Yard arrive, not to seek the help and advice of the Consulting Detective, but to arrest him for murder, placing him precariously ‘In the Shadow of the Noose’.
