In the Trenches 04-17-18
from In The Trenches
There is reason for concern with the Astros not living up to what we all expected this season, but it is too early to panic Craig Ackerman : Game 1 wasn't played well. Minnesota should be kicking them, selves for not stealing that one, and James Harden was fantastic. I wouldn't expect Minnesota's bench to play as well as they did in Game 1 again in this series as they are known for having one of the worst benches in the league. Nancy Armour : The MLB should shorten the season to avoid these weather problems up north, and the MLB Teams should rethink their ballparks to bring in young fans. Open air stadiums in cold weather make it impossible to get fans in. Open air stadiums also bring in higher risk of injury to players.
