In the West End by Will Power and Illustrated by R. Gregory Christie and Commissioned by the Alliance Theater

In the West End follows an energetic, amazing little boy that ventures out with his Mom through the West End (the historic African-American neighborhood in Atlanta) to find healthy and tasty vegan food for his Grandma who has to change the way she eats because of her health.  The book is illustrated by Corretta Scott King award winning illustrator R. Gregory Christie.  The work was released in 2020 as a commission for the Mayor’s Summer reading Club and was  distributed to 17,000 3-5 year-olds in the Atlanta metro area.
