In Understanding, Be Mature

A fresh storm leaves the disciples terrified, even after Jesus had fed a vast crowd with five loaves. They fail to connect His recent provision with their present danger because they do not think through what they already believe. Trials can train faith towards maturity, but only when people respond by trusting God rather than hardening their hearts. Jesus sees His people and prays for them.
