Inayah sits down to discuss how the stories passed down from her mother have shaped her, how she uses the term "the in- justice system" and where healing justice and community restoration have a place in our society, Inayah promotes healing by writing curriculum for schools, developing children’s literature, and teaching media-integrated, culturally responsive courses - primarily centered on Social Emotional Learning. She loves to share in learning communities so that she can continue to create and support healthy community spaces that help people heal, cope, and overcome the social barriers dictated by our society.
