Inclusive Science Communication

We wrap up season 3 of The Kitchen with a science episode- Sunshine Menezes is back to talk about her role as Clinical Professor of Environmental Communication in the Department of Natural Resources Sciences at the University of Rhode Island. Sunshine describes her work to promote inclusive science communication, developing classes and workshops for students and professionals to help them communicate more effectively and more inclusively. She also talks about her research developing methodologies to help scientists recognize environmental justice issues and interact with broader public audiences in ways that are meaningful and relevant to those with whom they are communicating.
