I'm guided to share my recent experience of deciding to pick up the phone after seeing the caller ID, knowing full well it all could be fake, let alone an AI chat bot. The caller, randomly tapped on a landline's phone pad, calling my number. To be fair, absent the area code, my phone number contains only three unique digits.
