Increase My Faith Part 1: Don’t stop at the door, Take the roof off! 📖Luke 17:5-6 NKJV Introduction: Size of my faith· This event is happening later in Jesus’ ministry · The disciples had seen that Jesus always attributed the miracles He did to faith and were interested to have the size of their faith increased The disciples said, “Increase our faith.” But Jesus said, “It doesn’t take more faith. It just takes faith.” Do you have it? · Even the smallest seed, when alive and planted, carries the power to move the impossible. “It’s not the size of my faith—it’s the size of my God!” Key truthIn Gods kingdom faith is the key that opens all the doors 📖Hebrews 11:6 NKJV · It’s still the same for us today - we have to have faith in God for things to happen in our lives 1. Faith Walks Better With Friends (Collaborative Faith) 📖 Mark 2:1-12 NKJVThe Bible doesn’t tell us if it was his idea or theirs to go. It doesn’t matter. What matters is—he got there. And when Jesus looked up, He didn’t just see the man’s faith, He saw their faith. These men loved their friend enough to go the extra mile. True friends bring you closer to Christ. “When I can’t walk, I need friends who will carry me!”“Your circle can be your ceiling—or your ladder!” 📖 Matthew 18:19–20 NKJV Reflections:Check if you have right friends and companions. If not, pray to God to lead you to them. Key truthJesus saw their faith as one because they did it in agreement · How much more when we believe in Jesus as the church - we will see the hand of God moving in our daily lives 2. Faith Finds a Way (Overcoming Obstacles) 📖 Mark 2:2, 4 NKJV• The crowd blocked the door. But faith doesn’t stop at the door—it finds the roof.• Faith will make you rip through barriers, not sit behind excuses.• They didn’t let the obstacle become the end of the story. Faith doesn’t take no for an answer. Faith takes the roof off. People with excuses never experience what God has promised. Reflections:These four guys broke someone’s roof to get to Jesus. What “roof” do you need to break to reach your miracle? Fear? Pride? Excuses? When the door is closed, faith builds a roof entrance. 3. Planning is not lack of Faith 📖 Mark 2:3 NKJVThis wasn’t haphazard. Four men, one assignment, one plan. Faith is not reckless—it’s strategic.Faith doesn’t retire your brain; it requires you to use wisdom and plan. They didn’t drop the man randomly—they lowered him with precision right in front of Jesus. Key Truth: Faith without wisdom is presumption. Faith with wisdom is power. 📖 Luke 14:28-31 NKJV Practical Application:The church of God should stop doing foolish things and regard it as faith. When things don’t work out than the blame it on GodKey truth:They dropped him safely right in front of Jesus. That didn’t happen by chance but by precision, exactness and accuracy. 4. Jesus Reads The hearts 📖 Mark 2:8 NKJV · The greatest person in that room was not the Pharisees, not the crowd—it was Jesus. He not only saw the paralytic’s physical need but also the Pharisees’ hidden thoughts. Key TruthYou need to have God who scans deep issues in your heart and surrender all to Him 📖 Mark 2:9-11 NKJVQuestions:Which one is easier? Answer: All is easy because He is God. He can do anything. 📖 Luke 1:37 NKJVKey truth To prove that he is God, he then commanded the man to walk Conclusion: Forgiveness of sins 📖 Mark 2:5 NKJV Jesus went deeper than the legs—He touched the soul.A healed walk means nothing if your heart is still broken.Jesus cares more about who you are than what you do. “God doesn’t just fix your walk—He fixes your heart!”“Faith doesn’t just change my situation—it changes my soul!” Jesus cares about your soul more that your external issues 📖 Ephesians 3:16–17 NKJV
