Independence Day! What is independence? We discuss the moral hazard of having and accepting government benefits and taxing production. The government incentivizes all the wrong things. Every time you take something from the government you are giving up some of your freedom and giving them more control and power over you. Never forget the great gift of freedom that our founding fathers gave us. It is not just our right, it is our responsibility to remain free and support our constitution so generations after us can experience the freedom that was given to us.
